Cellosaurus CH-RE1.22c (CVCL_D3WG)

[Text version]
Cell line name CH-RE1.22c
Synonyms RE1.22c
Accession CVCL_D3WG
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: CH-RE1.22c (RRID:CVCL_D3WG)
Comments Characteristics: This is a class II diphtheria toxin resistant cell line. The resistance of class II mutants cannot be overcome by increased concentration of the toxin. They possess a mutationally altered EF-2 which does not serve as a substrate for ADP-ribosylation by diphtheria toxin (PubMed=494060).
Selected for resistance to: UniProtKB; P00588; Corynephage beta diphtheria toxin.
Transformant: ChEBI; CHEBI_23994; Ethyl methanesulfonate (Methylsulfonic acid ethyl ester; MSEE).
Derived from site: In situ; Ovary; UBERON=UBERON_0000992.
Cell type: Epithelial cell of ovary; CL=CL_2000064.
Sequence variations
  • Mutation; UniProtKB; P09445; EEF2; Simple; p.Gly717Arg (c.2149G>A); Zygosity=Homozygous (PubMed=1353910).
Species of origin Cricetulus griseus (Chinese hamster) (Cricetulus barabensis griseus) (NCBI Taxonomy: 10029)
Hierarchy Parent: CVCL_D3X1 (CH-RE1.22)
