Cellosaurus U2OS CHRM5 calcium-Nomad (CVCL_YK39)
Cell line name | U2OS CHRM5 calcium-Nomad |
---|---|
Synonyms | Ca++ Nomad M5 (CHRM5)/U2OS; M5 Nomad |
Accession | CVCL_YK39 |
Resource Identification Initiative | To cite this cell line use: U2OS CHRM5 calcium-Nomad (RRID:CVCL_YK39) |
Comments | Population: Caucasian. Characteristics: In absence of calcium, the fluorescent biosensor is localized in the cellular membrane. An increase in this second messenger concentration leads to change in the structural folding of Nomad biosensor that promotes its cellular relocation in the vesicular trafficking of the cells. Characteristics: The green calcium-Nomad biosensor consists of a membrane localization peptide derived from interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, a TurboGFP fluorescent protein, a calmodulin-binding peptide fused to a KDEL signal. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=HGNC; HGNC:1954; CHRM5. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=FPbase; A315M; TurboGFP (Note=Green fluorescent protein from P.plumata). Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P00552; Transposon Tn5 neo. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P13249; S.alboniger pac (PuroR). Derived from site: In situ; Bone, tibia; UBERON=UBERON_0000979. |
