Comments Characteristics: The MLL/AF9 oncogene was transduced into bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells and then transferred cells to sub-lethally irradiated recipients. Primary acute myeloid leukemia cells were harvested 3-6 months later, serially transplanted three times and then cultured in the presence of cytokines (PubMed=29478914).
