Characteristics: Transfected with the ligand-binding domain (LBD) of THRB fused to the DNA-binding domain (DBD) of GAL4. When an agonist binds to the LBD of the DBD-LBD fusion protein, the protein binds to the UAS, resulting in expression of the beta-lactamase.
