Cellosaurus ZPEG244 (CVCL_HB58)
Cell line name | ZPEG244 |
---|---|
Accession | CVCL_HB58 |
Resource Identification Initiative | To cite this cell line use: ZPEG244 (RRID:CVCL_HB58) |
Comments | Characteristics: Selected using the 9-(1'-pyrene)nonanol/ultraviolet (P9OH/UV) method. P9OH acts as a photosensitizer. Normal cells which can incorporate the fluorescent fatty alcohol into lipids are killed by UV, but mutants who incorporate P9OH poorly are less susceptible to photosensitized killing. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=RGD; 61814; Pex2. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=FPbase; R9NL8; eGFP (Note=Enhanced GFP). Transformant: ChEBI; CHEBI:132982; Acridine half-mustard dihydrochloride (6-chloro-9-[3-(2-chloroethylamino)propylamino]-2-methoxyacridine dihydrochloride; Acridine mutagen ICR 191). Derived from site: In situ; Ovary; UBERON=UBERON_0000992. Cell type: Epithelial cell of ovary; CL=CL_2000064. |
