Cellosaurus OM-612 (CVCL_C8BK)
Cell line name | OM-612 |
---|---|
Accession | CVCL_C8BK |
Resource Identification Initiative | To cite this cell line use: OM-612 (RRID:CVCL_C8BK) |
Comments | Characteristics: Selected using the 9-(1'-pyrene)nonanol/ultraviolet (P9OH/UV) method. P9OH acts as a photosensitizer. Normal cells which can incorporate the fluorescent fatty alcohol into lipids are killed by UV, but mutants who incorporate P9OH poorly are less susceptible to photosensitized killing. Transformant: ChEBI; CHEBI:23994; Ethyl methanesulfonate (Methylsulfonic acid ethyl ester; MSEE). Derived from site: In situ; Ovary; UBERON=UBERON_0000992. Cell type: Epithelial cell of ovary; CL=CL_2000064. |
