Characteristics: Reporter cell line that expresses GFP and mCherry fluorescent proteins under the control of the endogenous insulin (INS) and glucagon (GCG) loci respectively. Using homologous recombination an EGFP reporter gene was introduced in one allele of the INS locus. Using TALEN a mCherry reporter was introduced at the N-terminus in one allele of the GCG locus (PubMed=34619644).
