Accession | CVCL_B6J0 |
Resource Identification Initiative | To cite this cell line use: NIH/3T3-174 (RRID:CVCL_B6J0) |
Comments | Group: Patented cell line. Characteristics: Overexpresses SURF6 in the presence of doxycycline. Characteristics: Transfected with two constructs: 1) pcDNA3.1(-)rtTA which contains a rtTA and a neo gene. The reverse tetracycline-controlled transactivator (rtTA) is a fusion between a mutated version of E.coli TetR and the activating domain of HSV-1 VP16. 2) pBI-mSURF6 that contains a bidirectorial tetracycline-responsible element (Tre) flanked by two minimal bi-directorial CMV promoters which govern co-expression of SURF6 and EGFP. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=MGI; MGI:98447; Surf6. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=FPbase; R9NL8; eGFP (Note=Enhanced GFP). Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P00552; Transposon Tn5 neo. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P04483; Escherichia coli Tn10 tetR. Genetic integration: Method=Transfection/transduction; Gene=UniProtKB; P06492; Human herpesvirus 1 VP16 (UL28) (Note=With p.Met1_Arg360del). Derived from site: In situ; Whole embryo; UBERON=UBERON_0000922. Cell type: Fibroblast; CL=CL_0000057. |
