Virology: Highly susceptible to infection by both CCR5-tropic and CXCR4-tropic HIV-1 strains. SEAP (secreted ALPP) reporter cell line, in this cell line SEAP is under the control of a HIV-1 long terminal repeat. This cell line secretes human placental alkaline phosphatase into the culture supernatant during HIV-1 infection.
